Spring Passport

Spot the flowers, collect the stamps, win your prize

This spring, walk the El Palmar Circuit photographing the flowers of La Campana National Park, then head down to the valley to collect stamps at Ocoa's businesses. Complete the passport and choose your prize.

Because of this year's late rains, flowering is running behind schedule: not every species will be out in the first week. Check what's blooming right now on our social media before you come.

How it works

1

Get your passport

Pick one up at any participating business.

2

Walk and photograph

On the El Palmar Circuit, mark each of the 25 flowers you find. Photograph them — never pick them.

3

Collect the stamps

Visit the valley's businesses. Each one stamps your passport.

4

Claim your prize

With 10 flowers and 3 stamps, the basic prize. With all 25 flowers and 5 stamps, the top prize. The business punches a hole in your passport when you claim it, so you keep it as a souvenir.

The prizes

From 10 flowers and 3 stamps

One of the season's prizes from the participating businesses.

With all 25 flowers and 5 stamps

The season's top prize.

The details of each prize are posted on our social media before the activity starts.

Also: the season raffle

Post your photo from the walk with the hashtag #PrimaveraOcoa, tagging @turismoocoa and @rutasdelconocimiento. You're automatically entered into the season raffle, whether or not you complete the passport.
